West Kowloon: Singer-songwriter On Chan to hold 'The State of Time' concert on 10 Jan 2026, transforming from EMO to 'E' and controlling the audience's time in search of a new Eden

Singer-songwriter On Chan announces exciting news: on the evening of 10 January next year, the 'On Chan The State of Time Concert 2026' will be held at the Bamboo Theatre Park, West Kowloon Cultural District, presented by Media Asia Entertainment. He will transform into a 'time leader', allowing the audience to forget their identities, ages, and all their troubles, and immerse themselves in his musical exploration of the universe in search of a new Eden. This is the first outdoor solo concert for Anson, who jokes that he will turn into an 'E person' to entertain the audience. Tickets are priced at HK$1080, $780, and $580, with BANK OF E ASIA credit card exclusive priority booking on 3 November.

The creative director for this concert is Oscar, a frequent collaborator of Anson's, who together conceived the theme and concept. The poster design is by Sunny, another longtime partner, while photographer Ah Ching is a new addition to the team. Anson is dressed in an earth-toned suit, posing in a 'hourglass' setting filled with sand to symbolize that he is the 'sand' within the hourglass, representing 'time'. Anson explains, 'This concert is called 'The State of Time', and I will be controlling everyone's time during the show. Forget everything and follow my rhythm, my music, forgetting your identities - not a boss, not an employee, not a mother, not a boyfriend, not a girlfriend... nothing, we are all my tribesmen. Let's come together to my party, leaving behind all time and age, and let me lead everyone to enjoy the entire musical journey.'

Anson held his first solo concert at the Macpherson Stadium in February last year, and this year he is taking his performance outdoors, eagerly anticipating sharing a musical journey from dusk till dawn with the audience. 'I am very happy, C AllStar has held a concert here before, and it felt amazing, being able to gaze at the sky, from daylight to sunset, singing until dark, intertwined with nature. I personally love watching festivals. I hope this concert will feel like a festival, vibrant and full of interactive segments. With an outdoor show, I will be more outgoing and 'E'!

The theme concept for Anson's musical project this year is 'In Search of a New Eden', and he explains, 'In a post-apocalyptic world, a meteor strikes the Earth, and we set off together to find this new Eden. I hope that when people come to my concert, they will feel as if they have entered a new world, exploring themselves, the world, or me. For these two hours, forget everything and let my music guide you forward.'
